Hunter and I met in college, I was attending Missouri Valley College and he was attending the University of Central Missouri. We met how most modern love stories start, on a dating app! We have debated a few times whether we matched on Bumbl or Tinder, I prefer to say Bumbl but, Hunter might tell a different story. We matched, talked for a day or so, an things sort of fizzled out. Somehow.... Hunter found my snapchat, apparently I had it in my bio on Instagram, and he added me.

In Marshall on Wednesday nights, one of the local bars, The Living Room affectionately called "the liv", would have bottomless drinks on Wednesday nights. All of my friends were going on to the bar that night but I, being the studious biology major, decided to stay in for the evening and go to the lab to work on re-articulating my fox skeleton for my honors Vertebrate Zoology project. I posted on my snapchat story, the picture below, poking fun at the fact that all of my friends were out partying and I decided to stay in to work on my project. Hunter responded, out of the blue after not speaking for months since he added me on snapchat, "Looks like a lively date" and just like that with a dad joke we have been together for 5+ years.
