Tentative RSVP

Hunter and I met in college, I was attending Missouri Valley College and he was attending the University of Central Missouri. We met how most modern love stories start, on a dating app! We have debated a few times whether we matched on Bumbl or Tinder, I prefer to say Bumbl but, Hunter might tell a different story. We matched, talked for a day or so, an things sort of fizzled out. Somehow.... Hunter found my snapchat, apparently I had it in my bio on Instagram, and he added me. In Marshall on Wednesday nights, one of the local bars, The Living Room affectionately called "the liv", would have bottomless drinks on Wednesday nights. All of my friends were going on to the bar that night but I, being the studious biology major, decided to stay in for the evening and go to the lab to work on re-articulating my fox skeleton for my honors Vertebrate Zoology project. I posted on my snapchat story, the picture below, poking fun at the fact that all of my friends were out partying and I decided to stay in to work on my project. Hunter responded, out of the blue after not speaking for months since he added me on snapchat, "Looks like a lively date" and just like that with a dad joke we have been together for 5+ years.

Taylor is 29 years old and is Makenzie's older sister. She is married to Parker McGurie and is the mother of 3 beautiful children Ruth (3y), Naomi(2y), and Levi (1y) and dog Wolfgang. Her and her family live in Ogden, Utah.

Chandler is 26 years old and is Hunter's brother. He lives in Columbia, MO with girlfriend Hailea Armstrong and works as a Laborer for Radmacher Construction.

Ashley is 36 years old, Hunter's oldest sister and Makenzie's good friend! She is retired veteran living in Sedalia, MO with her adorable fury babies Cronus, Spook, Shadow and Athena.

Nate Meyer is 27 years old and is a high school friend of Hunter. He works as Nucor Steel Manufacturing and lives in Warrensburg, MO with his wife Leah and son Alder (1y).

Sierra is 23 years old, Hunter's youngest sister and Makenzie's good friend! She is engaged to Austin Droege and they are getting married in May 2026! She works for RAC-JAC Properties in Sedalia, MO.

Austin is 28 years old and has been Hunter's friend since Kindergarten. He is married to Grace Jakel and they live in Pleasant Hill, MO with their dog Jax. He works as an electrician for ECA. Austin and Grace were Hunter and Makenzie's roommates for 2 years in Blue Springs, MO.

Anakeesta is a very popular Gatlinburg attraction located on the Gatlinburg strip. It is a mountain top adventure&nbsp;park that can only be accessed via gondola ride (or bus ride for the height averse). It costs Adult (Ages 12-59):&nbsp;$34.99 |&nbsp;Children (Ages 4-11):&nbsp;$22.99 |&nbsp;Seniors (Ages 60 +):&nbsp;$27.99 |&nbsp;3 and under:&nbsp;FREE. All attractions at the top of the mountain cost extra. They have mountain top restaurants, mountain coasters, zip lining and a Treetop Skywalk. A great attraction for several hours of the day!

Anakeesta

Similar to Anakeesta, this is a mountain top adventure only accessible via gondola ride. A single visit is $39.95 and an all day pass with multiple rides up the gondola is $52.95. There is a Skybridge that allows you to walk between two mountain peaks on a bridge, restaurants, hiking trails, and scenic overlooks.

As Gatlinburg’s first mountain coaster, the Moonshine Mountain Coaster is a ride like no other. Enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountain scenery on the way up and coast through the hills at speeds up to 30mph on the way down. Hunter and I went at night which was very fun! Get their&nbsp;All-Day&nbsp;Wristband for only&nbsp;$35 (Ages 8+)!$5&nbsp;for kids 3 – 7 years of age!

Hiking Trails 

The Alum Cave trail offers a roundtrip length of over 4 miles and its highest elevation is 4,955 ft. We will be going on this hike on October 1st!
